Job Description

Job Description: Senior Account Executive - Hi-Tech Sales, with focus on Semiconductor & Silicon Engineering Services

Experience Level: 5-7 Years

Focus: R&D outsourcing, Semiconductor Software Engineering, including Post and Pre-Silicon validation, and Product Engineering Services.

Location: Austin, TX (Hybrid/On-site) or Dallas, TX (alternative)

The Role

We are seeking a strategic, Austin-based Senior Account Executive to drive growth within the "Silicon Hills" ecosystem. In this role, you will be the primary link between our world-class engineering teams and the world's leading semiconductor firms, hyperscalers, and automotive tech giants.

With 5 to 7 years of experience, you aren't just selling "staffing"-you are selling accelerated time-to-market for complex SoC (System on Chip) design, verification, and embedded software. You will partner with VPs of Engineering and Silicon Architects to solve the industry's toughest talent and R&D bottlenecks.

͏

Key Responsibilities
  • Austin Ecosystem Mastery: Leverage and expand a deep network within Austin's semiconductor hubs (major IDMs, fabless firms, and tech incumbents).
  • High-Stakes Discovery: Engage with Engineering Directors to identify gaps in their RTL design, physical design (Place & Route), or post-silicon validation cycles.
  • Solution Architecture: Collaborate with Delivery Leads to propose tailored R&D outsourcing models, ranging from "Turnkey" silicon projects to dedicated offshore/nearshore design centers.
  • Complex Contract Navigation: Lead the negotiation of MSAs and SOWs involving complex IP (Intellectual Property) protections, NRE (Non-Recurring Engineering) costs, and milestone-based delivery.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with technical recruiters and engineering managers to ensure the "product" (the engineering team) aligns perfectly with the client's tech stack.

͏

Specific Qualifications & Skills
  • Industry Experience: 5-7 years of quota-carrying experience in Semiconductor Services, Electronic Design Automation (EDA) tools, or Embedded Software sales.
  • Domain Knowledge: High-level fluency in the silicon lifecycle: Front-end (Design/Verification), Back-end (Physical Design/Layout), and Firmware/Drivers.
  • Strategic Sales: Proven track record of closing $5M+ service contracts within the semiconductor or hardware manufacturing space.
  • Methodology: Mastery of Value Selling to navigate long, technical procurement cycles.
  • Local Presence: Deep familiarity with the Austin & Dallas tech landscape and the ability to meet clients on-site as needed.

͏

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Annual Bookings: Consistently hitting a yearly target of atleast $5M in net new and expansion services revenue.
  • Account Penetration: Transforming "project-based" wins into multi-year, multi-departmental R&D partnerships.
  • Pipeline Health: Maintaining a 3x coverage of qualified opportunities against quarterly quotas.

The expected compensation for this role ranges from $184000 to $280,000.

Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
