Highlights of what our Business Developer will do:
- Grow the East Bay (Hayward and surrounding markets) to include distribution, manufacturing, and light industrial clients.
- Develop long-term relationships with current and prospective clients to further growth the landscape maintenance business
- Market Gothic's landscape maintenance services to by using their technical, organization and customer knowledge to add value to the customer and their property
- Prospect new clients and opportunities through daily cold calling, site visits, networking, outreach within the assigned territory, and attendance at industry trade shows and events to build relationships with clients and property managers
- Organize and plan daily and weekly sales activities including outreach to clients and property managers, scheduling appointments, and coordinating client events such as lunch and learns
- Play an interactive role with team during proposal process to ensure profitability
Are you the right fit for this role?Skills, education, and experience that are necessary for this role include, but are not limited to:- 3+ years of B2B sales experience or prior work in a customer-facing service role
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
- Highly self-motivated with a proactive, persistent approach to prospecting and building new client relationships.
- Excellent people skills - ability to solve problems creatively with strong oral and written communication
- Flexibility to work beyond normal business hours to attend sales and client engagements
- Strategic and analytical mindset with the ability to "think outside the box"

- Base salary: $90 - $111K plus generous commission structure
