The OpportunityThis is a BDR seat on a fast-scaling SMB growth team, and it is more creative than a typical outbound role. Alongside cold calling, cold email, and LinkedIn outreach, you will get real freedom to build new functions, run experiments, and shape campaigns rather than just execute someone else's playbook. The team leans into creative, high-impact plays to turn cold outreach into warm conversations.
You will build deep product and industry knowledge over time, with the explicit goal of growing into an Account Executive role within roughly 6-12 months. Travel to conferences and regional in-person events is part of the role and increasing.
Responsibilities- Generate qualified pipeline through cold calling, cold email, and LinkedIn outreach
- Ideate and execute creative growth experiments and campaigns
- Build out new functions and processes where you see opportunity
- Develop deep product and industry knowledge to engage prospects effectively
- Travel to conferences and regional in-person events to build pipeline
- Work toward leading your own discovery calls and progressing into an AE role
Requirements- Some prior BDR or SDR experience, with familiarity in how outbound works
- Hands-on cold calling and outreach experience
- Charismatic and easy to talk to, genuinely enjoyable in conversation
- Driven, motivated, and ready to deliver from day one
- Willing to work in person in NYC (and able to start promptly if relocating)
- Bonus: startup awareness or experience, a former-athlete background, healthcare experience, or prior experience selling to a similar customer base
