Business Development Manager | Bristol, IN (North)

Regular Employee | Salary Exempt | $110,000.00 - 125,000.00

What you'll do:
SUMMARY:Meet or exceedsales objectives of assigned accounts or territory by promotingthe company's suite of fleet solutions. Utilize consultative sellingand professional sales techniques to continuously develop long-term customerrelationships, increase profit margins, and acquire new clients

JOBRESPONSIBILITIES:• Must be ableto deliver profitable sales to the organization
• Proficientin executing consultative selling process and secures long term clientcommitments that can deliver long term / sustainable growth
• Meet minimumperformance goals (MPG) established by Sales Leadership
• Deliversthe company value proposition with the goal of signing newbusiness
• Secures business with a focuson van and pickup truck accessories and grows existing accounts.
• Increases company market share throughcold calls as well as prospect follow-up from leads provided by corporate,referrals, mailing lists, etcetera
• Developsnew/additional business through relationship building and solutions delivery
• Organicallydevelops and maintains a database of prospects within an assignedresponsibility
• Qualifiesprospect through consultative selling process, which includes effectivePre-Call Planning by information gathering, interviewing, or other activities
• Determine andrecommend if the prospect is a viable client for the company or not
• Documentsany sales related activity in CRM software (Salesforce)
• Assessesprospect need against available products and services
• Develops andpresents sales proposals including product selection, terms of sales, deliverydates, etc., following company required guidelines
• Makesprofessional presentations and conducts sales meetings to fleet decision makersand other C-level personnel
• Developsdata relative to marketing trends, competitive products, andpricing
• Submitsmarketing intelligence to Sales Leadership.
• Completesrequired activity, pipeline reports, expense reports, CRM affiliated activityand any other reports at Management discretion within defined timeline
• Submit salesforecast with prospect, quantity, and sales price for operations team todevelop capacity planning, engineering resources, material planning, andassembly manpower needs
• Conductsroute rides to gather prospect input and identify needs to match with a UTMbusiness solution. Also partner with segment engineer to communicate prospectsneeds
• Identifymarketing programs and sales aids that would increase sales
• Communicateneeds to marketing team with potential sales impact and required timing ofrequested resources

What you need to be successful:
QUALIFICATIONS:
• HS Diploma or GED required (Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or related degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience preferred)
• 3-5 years minimum of business-to-business outside successful sales experience
• Good understanding of the consultative sales process and general business operations
• Able to communicate the value and benefit of our products and core value propositions
• Strong analytical, interpersonal and presentation skills. Able to develop compelling proposals that identify financial impact of offer
• Strong presentation skills to create compelling presentations that demonstrate impact of why company is the best partner
• Experience in the commercial work truck and van upfitting industry preferred
• Solution driven; highly creative and problem-solving skills
• Able to analyze factors, develop effective sales strategy, meet client needs and close sales.
• High level of determination, initiative, perseverance, and resiliency
• Able to establish priorities and meet objectives
• Able to maintain "can do" attitude in the face of customer rejection.
• Competent in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Internet, and Salesforce
• Able to travel up to 50% of the time using motor vehicle or public transportation
