SLB is seeking a results-driven
Business Development Manager to support the growth of an assigned service, product, or business portfolio. In this role, you will be responsible for developing regional marketing strategies, assessing market opportunities, and driving revenue growth through strategic customer engagement and commercial execution. You will lead portfolio-related opportunities from early engagement through proposal submission and work closely with cross-functional teams to support business objectives.
We are looking for someone who is commercially minded, customer-focused, and able to build strong relationships across diverse stakeholders. Roles and Responsibilities- Develop and execute regional marketing and sales plans for the assigned portfolio.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including market expansion and strategic partnerships.
- Promote portfolio offerings and value propositions to customers and internal stakeholders.
- Lead strategic opportunities through the proposal and tender process, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Coordinate technical, operational, commercial, and legal reviews to support risk management and proposal quality.
- Support customer contract negotiations and ensure effective transition of awarded work to operational teams.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships within the assigned geography.
- Represent the business at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings.
Qualifications and Experience- Bachelor's degree (minimum four-year degree) in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field; equivalent relevant professional experience may be considered instead of a degree.
- Experience in business development, commercial management, sales, marketing, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated ability to develop growth strategies, evaluate market opportunities, and support revenue generation.
- Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
