Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth in the building materials (B2B/durable goods) sector.
- Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve common goals and exceed targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
- Oversee the development and execution of demand generation strategies across multiple channels, including two-step distribution, Pro Dealers, national and regional single-family builders, and co-ops.
- Ensure the sales organization delivers organizational and financial results through effective leadership and strategic planning.
- Foster a metrics-driven sales culture by instilling processes and measurable sales disciplines.
Ideal Qualifications:- Minimum of five years of relevant B2B sales, sales management, and demand generation experience.
- Proven track record of leading a commercial organization through a growth phase in the building materials sector.
- Experience in leading selling efforts across multiple channels, including two-step distribution, Pro Dealers, national and regional single-family builders, and co-ops.
- Strong business management abilities, leadership skills, and sales acumen.
- Results-oriented, self-starter, team builder, entrepreneurial, decisive, and confident with strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a growth-oriented environment and operate in a changing and evolving organization.
- Excellent conceptual, analytical, and leadership skills.
Sales and Marketing Leadership:- Proven track record of growing sales both tactically and strategically.
- Experience in building commercial processes, systems, and structures capable of fostering organizational growth.
- Ability to quickly establish and manage customer relationships, enjoying hands-on management and direct interaction with major accounts.
Channel Strategy and Management:- Experience with channel structures and strategies that align with our business model, including selling through Pro Dealer Channel and 1-Step Channel.
