Pay Range: Annual Salary $85k- $110k base plus uncapped commission structure OTE:$260,000

Summary of ResponsibilitiesAn Outside Sales Business Development Manager drives revenue by selling MSP services to clients in the field, managing key accounts, and expanding business through prospecting, presentations, and relationship building, involving market analysis, strategic planning, and hitting sales targets while ensuring client satisfaction and retention. This individual is expected to be a professional, energetic, hands-on partner, able to work independently with little or no supervision.
Essential Functions:
- Developing and Executing the agreed upon sales plan - cross-sell and upselling of services
- Account Management: Build strong client relationships, understanding their needs, and ensure satisfaction with tailored solutions.
- Strategy & Planning: Develop and execute sales strategies, analyze market trends, and identify opportunities.
- Reporting & Communication; Gene3rate sales reports, track performance , and communicate with management and internal teams.
- Product Expertise; Effectively communicate product features/benefits and assist with product selection.
General Duties and Responsibilities
- Handle inquires and requests from internal and external customers and address their needs.
- Stay on top of accounts, making sure they receive servicers that are within their budget and meet their needs.
- Meet with other team members to discuss progress and find new ways to improve business.
- Generate Progress reports for clients and senior leaders within the organization.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree level preferred
- 5-10 years of progressive experience in Business Development
- Recent MSP, SaaS, or IT consulting experience - required
- 3-5 Years experience of proposal writing and bid lifecycle management.
Equivalent combination of education and experience.
Travel Requirements
This position typically has 60% travel associated with its functions
Must be able to travel by air, boat, train, and vehicular modes regularly.
