Position Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team in the Bay Area. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and cultivating strategic partnerships with organizations such as community colleges, corporations, public safety agencies, and healthcare providers. Your efforts will expand access to National University's programs and services, aligning with our mission to provide life-changing educational opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Partnership Development: Identify and establish new partnerships to promote National University's educational offerings.
- Account Management: Manage and nurture relationships with existing partners, ensuring their needs are met and exploring opportunities for growth.
- Market Expansion: Research and engage potential markets within your territory to drive enrollment and program awareness.
- Outreach Initiatives: Lead outreach efforts, including cold calling, networking, and attending industry events to build and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective partners.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to align partnership strategies with organizational objectives and ensure seamless implementation.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years in business development, sales, or partnership management, preferably within the education sector.
- Skills: Proven ability to develop and execute strategic plans, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and proficiency in CRM software.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Location: Must reside in the Bay Area, California, and be willing to travel regionally as needed.
