Position Summary

AB Facility Services is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager with a proven track record of selling janitorial, commercial cleaning, facility maintenance, or integrated facility services.

This is a hunter role focused on winning new business, generating revenue, building strategic relationships, and securing long-term service contracts. The ideal candidate already understands the facility services industry, has experience responding to RFPs, developing proposals and pricing packages, and has successfully sold service contracts to commercial clients.

Candidates without direct janitorial, facility services, commercial cleaning, building services, manufacturing or related industry experience will not be considered.

Responsibilities
  • Generate and close new business opportunities
  • Sell ABFS janitorial, facility maintenance, and building service solutions
  • Develop and execute business development strategies to drive revenue growth
  • Conduct client meetings, presentations, networking events, and site visits
  • Build relationships with property managers, facility managers, procurement teams, and decision-makers
  • Lead RFP responses, proposal development, pricing strategies, and contract negotiations
  • Partner with Operations to ensure accurate scopes of work and pricing packages
  • Maintain a strong pipeline and consistently achieve sales goals


Required Qualifications
  • 7+ years of business development or sales experience
  • MUST have experience selling janitorial, commercial cleaning, facility maintenance, or building services
  • Proven track record of winning new accounts and generating revenue growth
  • Experience managing the full RFP process
  • Experience developing proposals, pricing models, and service agreements
  • Strong presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Established network within commercial real estate, facility management, property management, healthcare, education, industrial, or commercial sectors preferred
