Full Job Description
Supports the sales organization of the assigned organizational unit in developing strategic and midterm business strategies, structures and processes, focusing options to exploit best market opportunities.
Under the Siemens Healthineers Education and Workforce Solutions organization, this role is responsible for driving strategic growth and business development for EWS across targeted healthcare markets. This role focuses on building and strengthening customer relationships by aligning Siemens Healthineers’ remote workforce and imaging support with customers' operational, clinical, and staffing needs.

This individual will lead long-range strategic planning, market analysis, and business development efforts to expand the adoption of remote scanning and related workforce solutions. The role requires a strong understanding of medical imaging operations, healthcare workforce challenges, and the evolving staffing and service-delivery models across hospitals, health systems, imaging centers, and other provider settings.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead strategic business development efforts focused on remote scanning solutions, including We Scan, within the medical imaging market.

  • Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, market segments, customer channels, and go-to-market strategies that support the growth of Siemens Healthineers Education and Workforce Solutions offerings.

  • Develop and execute market research, financial and competitive analysis, and customer segmentation strategies related to remote scanning, workforce solutions, and healthcare staffing models.

  • Partner cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to support solution design, commercial strategy, proposal development, and implementation planning.

  • Coordinate and support assigned strategic projects, providing insights and recommendations that contribute to the development of new business strategies and offerings.

  • Analyze healthcare market trends, labor shortages, customer staffing challenges, and operational pain points to position Siemens Healthineers solutions effectively.

  • Evaluate opportunities to expand existing offerings into new customer groups, care settings, and delivery models, particularly those connected to medical imaging staffing, remote operations, and clinical support services.

  • Prepare strategic summaries, business cases, and executive-level recommendations to support growth initiatives and leadership decision-making.

  • Support development and management of strategic databases, market intelligence tools, and related reporting resources.

  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners/vendors to support the successful execution of strategic and operational initiatives.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of senior-level business development experience in medical imaging, healthcare workforce solutions, healthcare staffing, or related healthcare services.

  • Demonstrated experience selling or supporting solutions within medical imaging, workforce solutions, remote clinical service models, or healthcare staffing environments.

  • Strong knowledge of healthcare staffing models, including MSP, contract labor, temporary staffing, and permanent placement services.

  • Experience working with hospitals, health systems, imaging departments, outpatient centers, or related healthcare provider organizations.

  • Proven ability to identify market opportunities, build strategic relationships, and drive revenue growth in complex healthcare environments.

  • Strong understanding of medical imaging operations and the workforce challenges impacting imaging providers.

  • Excellent strategic planning, market analysis, project coordination, and executive communication skills.

  • Open to 50% or more to long-distance travel.

Preferred Experience

  • Significant experience in selling or developing solutions tied to medical imaging operations, remote scanning, clinical workforce support, healthcare staffing, or workforce optimization services.

  • Background in radiology/imaging, healthcare staffing, workforce solutions, or other healthcare services strongly preferred

The base pay range for this position is:

$119,920 - $164,890

Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

If this is a commission eligible position the commission eligibility will be in accordance with the terms of the Company's plan. Commissions are based on individual performance and/or company performance.
