The
Business Development Manager is responsible for:
What you'll do:- Identifies and evaluates possible new markets and new clients for existing services.
- Be knowledgeable of and present ATIC services to clients.
- Solicits and evaluates client feedback.
- Resolve client service-related issues.
- Participate in trade events.
- Regularly meet with existing clients with the goal of penetrating further with Intertek services.
- Maintains pipeline and backlog allocations within I-Connect.
- Generates monthly sales activity logging through client tracking system.
- Implements client specific action plans.
- Perform other duties as required.
- Other duties related to the above, as assigned
- Carrying out all responsibilities in a supportive manner with total adherence to: the Company's Health, Safety and Environmental Policies and Procedures, Quality Management System, Compliance and Ethics Policies, Vision, Mission and Strategy, and exercises good judgment, common sense, and diplomacy.
What it takes to be successful in this role:- High School diploma or equivalent.
- 5+ years Account Management/Sales experience in the Petroleum testing industry.
- Expert presentation skills.
- Ability to develop professional materials for presentation to the clients.
- Knowledge of the Petroleum testing industry.
- Ability to develop SWOT analysis for existing and prospective clients.

- Be aware of, and adhere to, safety practices and policies to ensure your own safety, as well as the safety of others who may be affected by your actions at work
- Ability to work in fast-paced, multi-tasking environment with shifting priorities and demanding deadlines
- Must be detailed-oriented and able to effectively prioritize and organize workload, with efficient time management
- Ability to communicate and interact effectively in verbal written and presentation formats
- Must possess the fundamental technical and administrative skills required to perform the job duties
- Must be customer focused and quality driven
- Ability to travel as business needs dictate
