Minimum qualifications:- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 7 years of experience in business development, partnerships, management consulting, or investment banking, or 5 years of experience with advanced degree.
- Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across multiple levels of management.
- Experience managing agreements or partnerships.
- Experience in the consumer electronics, auto, original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), telecom, e-commerce/retail, apps, ads, gaming, or technology industries.
Preferred qualifications:- MBA or Master's degree in a related field.
- 8 years of experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives and influencing executives.
- 6 years in business development, identifying, evaluating, and securing new revenue-generating partnerships.
- Excellent negotiation and agreement construction skills, with grasp of legal considerations and favorable terms.
- Excellent investigative acumen to evaluate market landscapes, solve complex problems, and align with business objectives.
- Excellent communication skills, working autonomously to drive consensus in a changing, collaborative environment.

As a Business Development Lead, Content Acquisition, Play Games Partnerships, you will source and secure premium games that do not currently exist on our platform. This may require establishing new relationships with developers we may not have worked with before.

Google's Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google's own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google's user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Responsibilities- Cultivate strong partnerships with game developers to create new business opportunities for the Google Play ecosystem.
- Identify exciting new games and negotiate agreements with developers and publishers to bring top titles and popular franchises to the platform.
- Work closely with product development teams to support broader platform goals and align strategies for launching new, innovative games.
- Monitor the gaming industry for emerging trends and promising early-stage developers, providing actionable market insights to the leadership team.
- Provide strategic guidance to product and business development teams on the best games to feature for new product launches and platform initiatives.
