Business Development IT Sales

Location: New York, East Coast, US

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated Sales Executive to drive new business in the IT consulting services space. Your primary responsibility is to generate revenue by selling IT talent and consulting services to existing clients.

Responsibilities
  • Proactively identify, prospect, and close business opportunities in the NYC market
  • Sell IT staffing and consulting services (contract, contract-to-hire, and full-time placements)
  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers (hiring managers, procurement, executives)
  • Develop and manage a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities
  • Consistently meet or exceed revenue and activity targets
  • Track sales activity and pipeline in CRM
    Important Note: Role Scope
  • 100% sales / business development responsibility
  • Focused on growing accounts


Eligibility Requirements
  • 2+ years of B2B sales or business development experience
  • Experience selling IT staffing, consulting services, or professional services
  • Proven ability to generate leads and close new business
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Highly driven, competitive, and comfortable in a quota-carrying role

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in an IT staffing or consulting firm
  • Familiarity with MSP/VMS environments


In the US, the target base salary for this role is $75-$125K. Compensation is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography. We expect the majority of candidates who are offered roles at our company to fall throughout the range based on these factors
