Our core capabilities and future technologies lie in: active controls, aftermarket services, aircraft electrification, autonomy, cabin systems, engine systems, and next-gen controls. This position will be in support of our aftermarket services where we provide world class support throughout the lifecycle of our products, up to 600+ airlines and MROs globally.
The responsibilities of the Business Analyst II position are listed below.
Data Analysis, Reporting, and Tool Integration:- Satisfy internal and external requests for data and analysis, ensuring accuracy and relevance
- Maintain, update, and develop reports to meet evolving business needs and integrate new data sources
- Drive the adoption and integration of tools like Salesforce and Tableau to streamline reporting and analysis
- Support catalog and pricing data integration efforts while ensuring seamless data processes across platforms
- Act as a subject matter expert for reporting tools, providing training and support to cross-functional teams
Strategic Initiatives:- Collaborate with Regional Sales Leaders (RSLs) to develop and refine regional growth strategies
- Support the creation and implementation of new Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure strategic growth
- Assist with the development of collateral and materials to support strategic engagements
Market Awareness & Reporting:- Stay up to date on developments in the commercial aerospace market, including industry news, aftermarket trends, and competitive dynamics.
- Contribute to monthly market reports (MMRs) and provide insights to support strategic planning and decision-making.
- Respond to ad hoc requests for market analysis and updates as needed
Collaboration & Communication:- Work closely with BD and program teams through periodic meetings to align on objectives
- Collaborate with other supporting analysts to learn from eachother and align efforts
- Attend conferences, face-to-face meetings, and other internal events as required
Continuous Education & Skill Development:- Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data analysis and business strategy
- Pursue ongoing training and certifications, particularly in tools like Tableau, Salesforce, or machine learning techniques
- Encourage and contribute to knowledge sharing amongst the analyst network
Required Skills and Education- Bachelor or Master degree in Analytics, Business, Mathematics (or other related fields), or a degree with an Analytics or Business minor/concentration
- Experience using data visualization software such as PowerBI, Tableau, Looker, and data preparation and cleaning methods/tools such as MS Power Query, Alteryx or Tableau Prep, SQL, MS Office suite of programs (MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
- Prior experience in the aerospace industry necessary
Preferred Skills and Education- Experience using business intelligence tools
- Experience with Python
- Comfortable with complex data relationships (ERD)
- Knowledge/Experience with machine learning, time series analysis, and deep learning frameworks
- Effective prompt engineering skills to leverage AI when necessary
