JOB DESCRIPTION

As a member of the Business Banking Deposit & Cash Management Product Analytics team, you will play a pivotal role in providing data driven insights to product managers that will ultimately impact millions of small business customers.  This team directly supports Deposit products (Checking, Savings, CDs) and Cash Management products (such as ACH, Remote Check Deposit, Positive Pay, etc.).  You will be assigned to support product managers where you will act as a consultant to understand business problems, build the framework for the best data driven solution, run the analysis, and then review results with partners.  Your work will help us better understand customer behaviors, identify opportunities, and improve customer engagement and operational efficiency. Your ability to engage with stakeholders and technical and business partners will be key in delivering strong analytic data solutions.  You will directly contribute to developing new banking products, modifying existing banking products, establish and running proper controls, and running benchmarking with third party companies.

Job Responsibilities

  • Create a strong relationship with product managers and functional partners
  • Own the development and execution of analyses and reports from end to end
  • Be able to summarize data results in a non-technical manner for business partners
  • Ability to think from a business standpoint and how that related to data
  • Familiarity with banking products a plus: Deposit (Checking, Savings, CDs) and Cash Management (ACH, Remote Check Deposit, Positive Pay, etc.)

 

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills.

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant quantitative discipline with a focus on data engineering, data warehousing, computer science and/or data-driven analytics
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in quant analytics
  • Demonstrated advanced SQL skills is a must, such as: conduct data transformation, data discovery, validate, de-duplicate, aggregate, unveil edge cases, and transform data structures
  • Experience working across multiple database platforms, both on premises, such as Teradata, Oracle, as well as on Cloud solutions such as AWS and Snowflake
  • Clear communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex issues concisely
  • Strong organizational skills, keen attention to detail, structured approach to writing code and creating comprehensive documentation
