Full Job Description
The Business and Quality Analyst will be responsible for leading and supporting all aspects of software application and/or web development projects, partnering closely with analysts, developers, and cross-functional project teams to ensure successful project delivery. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with minimal supervision and possess strong time management skills with the ability to manage multiple high-visibility priorities, projects, and deliverables simultaneously.

This position requires working onsite at our Vienna, VA headquarters four days per week, with one remote workday.

Job Responsibilities Include:
  • Follow SDLC best practices, including sprint and release planning, while maintaining a strong understanding of customer needs.
  • Conduct business analysis activities and monitor development and execution efforts.
  • Perform work-product acceptance and validation activities.
  • Create and execute test scripts to support internal testing efforts.
  • Facilitate user acceptance testing and reporting activities.
  • Ensure quality assurance of project process flows.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Applicants must be permanent residents or citizens of the United States and eligible to obtain a Public Trust clearance with the U.S. Government.
  • Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems or a related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in the Information Technology industry.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Business and Quality Analyst.
  • Ability to analyze and translate functional business requirements from stakeholders into detailed tasks for Design and Development teams.
  • Strong research and analytical skills.
  • Strong testing and quality assurance skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate and present complex technical concepts and analyses to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Expert-level understanding of SDLC methodologies and best practices.
  • Experience working in Agile environments.
  • Ability to quickly learn new technologies.
  • Broad knowledge of web technologies and Content Management Systems.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
  • Ability to multitask and effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Experience supporting Federal Government customers
  • Agile Certification and/or Product Owner Certification
