Position OverviewAs a Business Analytics Lead on the Funds Transfer Pricing team, you will be part of PNC's Finance organization within the Control Division. You will have a mix of monthly reporting, project, and analysis responsibilities. This role combines financial concepts with information technology. Ideal candidates will have an interest in both the financial and the operational aspects of the position. This position will be based within the following markets: Pittsburgh, PA, Philadelphia, PA, Cleveland, OH, Chicago, IL, New York City, NY, Gaithersburg, MD, Atlanta, GA, Tampa, FL and Birmingham, AL. Surrounding markets may be considered.
Primary responsibilities and activities include:
• Supporting Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP) operations within the Control division of Finance,
• Understanding key functionality and elements of the OFSA tool to lead monthly reporting and projects.
• Coordinate FTP and Oracle Financial Services Application (OFSA) projects and methodology implementations. Current project work includes implementation of new or enhanced funding treatments on banking products and the expansion of OFSA to consume new banking platforms.
• Partnering with Asset & Liability Management and Line of Business leadership to ensure the delivery of accurate and timely financial results.
• Derive meaning from big data (i.e., datasets that may be large, disparate, unstructured, and/or complex).
• Responding to inquiries, performing analyses, and presenting recommendations to senior executive management (Senior Managers, Finance Directors, Controllers, etc.). Ability to influence strategic decision making.
• Develops, tests, and implements operational changes via the system user interface.
• Interprets and creates complex financial models (discounted cash flow, interest rate sensitivity, amortization)
The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:
• Strong working knowledge of general accounting, accounting systems, financial reporting, data flow and financial analysis.
• Solid understanding of financial service Industry and bank balance sheets preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is required.
• SQL/query experience is required. Experience with large datasets preferred.
• OFSA, Hyperion Essbase experience is a plus. Familiarity with TOAD software a plus.
• MBA preferred.
• Familiarity of ETL processes, data consumption patterns, data integration and data flow.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing needs.
• Written and verbal communication skills demonstrating an ability to convey complex subjects in a summary manner for consideration in executive decision making.
• High level of insightful curiosity to constructively challenge presented information to make sure it is accurate and meaningful.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills. Able to use technology, contacts, and deductive reasoning to get to the bottom of reporting requests.

Pay TransparencyBase Salary: $91,000.00 - $500,000.00
Salaries may vary based on geographic location, market data and on individual skills, experience, and education. This role is incentive eligible with the payment based upon company, business and/or individual performance.
