Role description

  • We are seeking a highly motivated Business Analyst Data Analyst with strong expertise in insurance domain processes data analysis data mapping and stakeholder engagement.
  • The ideal candidate will work closely with Business SMEs Product Owners Architects and Development teams to gather requirements analyze business processes profile and model data and translate business needs into scalable technology solutions
  • The role requires a strong understanding of data flows legacy system modernization cloud data platforms and Agile delivery practices

Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis
  • Elicit analyze document and validate business requirements through workshops stakeholder interviews and discovery sessions
  • Create and maintain Business Requirement Documents BRD Functional Requirement Documents FRD user stories process flows and acceptance criteria
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to understand new product capabilities coverage additions and operational requirements
  • Facilitate requirement walkthroughs with architects developers QA teams and business users
  • Translate business requirements into detailed functional and technical specifications
  • Support Agile ceremonies including backlog grooming sprint planning reviews and retrospectives

Data Analysis Data Management
  • Profile analyze and assess legacy and target system data to identify gaps trends data quality issues and transformation requirements
  • Develop sourcetotarget mappings and transformation rules for data migration and system modernization initiatives
  • Create logical and physical data models supporting new business domains and reporting requirements
  • Perform impact analysis on upstream and downstream systems for data changes
  • Validate data migration reconciliation and transformation processes across environments
  • Support the design and delivery of data solutions leveraging cloud platforms and modern data architectures

Solution Design Delivery
  • Collaborate with solution architects and development teams to design effective business and data solutions
  • Analyze APIs integrations data interfaces and system interactions to define integration requirements
  • Prepare test scenarios and acceptance criteria based on business rules and data requirements
  • Support SIT UAT production validation and defect triage activities
  • Participate in release planning deployment validation and postimplementation support
  • Reporting Analytics
  • Design and support data structures used for reporting dashboards and business analytics
  • Work with reporting and visualization tools to provide insights supporting business decisions
  • Partner with business users to define KPI metrics and reporting requirements
  • Ensure data quality consistency and governance standards are maintained

Required Skills Experience

Business Analysis

5 years of Business Analysis experience

Strong experience in requirement gathering stakeholder management and solution definition

Expertise in AgileScrum methodologies and SDLC processes

Experience creating BRD FRD User Stories Process Flows Use Cases and Acceptance Criteria

Strong communication and facilitation skills with both business and technical teams

Data Analysis
  • Strong SQL skills using Oracle SQL Server DB2 Snowflake or similar databases
  • Experience in data profiling data mapping data lineage and data quality analysis
  • Knowledge on Document processing systems in generating agreements for Agency lifecycle management preferred
  • Experience developing sourcetotarget mappings and transformation logic
  • Knowledge of ETL processes and cloudbased data solutions
