Skill: ServiceNow ITAM Business Analyst
Must Have Technical/Functional Skills:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent (4-years) in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Keen understanding of ITIL framework and industry best practices with ITIL v3 or v4.
- Experience in Agile SCRUM methodology.
- 4+ years of practical experience and shown success with the requirements gathering for ServiceNow ITAM modules, primarily Hardware Asset Management.
- Comprehensive understanding and background in ServiceNow Discovery, including Cloud Discovery and how it should populate the CMDB.
- Service mapping, MID server configuration, data mapping.
- Integration overview between ServiceNow and external tools/systems or experience with Integration Hub a plus.
- Strong experience with ServiceNow out of box functionalities.
- Knowledge of protocols such as HTTP, TCP, SNMP, SOAP, and REST.
- Teamwork and collaboration.
- Resourceful, takes the initiative to accomplish goals and objectives.
- Excellent oral and written communications.
- Organized and analytical, adept at working in a team environment and able to handle multiple priorities.
- Adaptability / ability to manage change.
- Problem solving / analytical thinking with a results-oriented focus.
- Strong understanding of ServiceNow modules.
- Ability to articulate ServiceNow features as it relates to the customers business
Roles & Responsibilities:
- This position is responsible for capturing business requirements for Configuration Management, Discovery, and IT Asset Management.
- Liaison between the business and the platform team.
- Captures business and user requirements (as stories for agile shops).
- Ensures requirements are understood, developed, tested, and delivered to specification.
- Owns the relationship with project stakeholders to identify, prioritize, model, and document business, process, and data requirements.
- Represents project stakeholders throughout planning, development, and release processes.
- Works with the platform team to develop release estimates.
- Supports the testing effort.
- Works with stakeholders to drive adoption
Salary Range - $90,000 a year-$100,000 a year
