DescriptionThis position can be located near a Huntington Bank Corporate office building Summary:The Business Analyst - Sr leads assigned projects and/or provides advanced specialized consultative support to other team members for assigned business process and/or system(s) that are typically more complex and of a larger impact to the company.
Duties & Responsibilities:- Maintains in-depth knowledge of business processes and applications and stays current in technical enhancements, methodologies and trends related to the assigned application(s).
- Analyzes existing processes and systems and identifies technical or procedural improvements.
- Recommends business practices to optimize use of business process/system(s).
- Develops operational procedures for products, services and systems.
- Designs processes to meet regulatory requirements.
- Develops and generates special and ad hoc reports.
- Provides technical support to business unit, customers, management and other users.
- Serves as liaison between software vendors and business process system users and other corporate areas.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
This position can be located near a Huntington Bank Corporate office building Basic Qualifications:- Bachelors degree
- At least 5 years of business analyst experience
- Experience with Excel/Microsoft suite
- High School diploma with 9 years of experience/education in a related field may be considered.
Preferred Qualifications:- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multi task and work in a fast paced environment with excellent troubleshooting, problem solving and organizational skills.
- Keen attention to detail.
- Ability to identify continuous improvement opportunities and solutions.
- Proficiency in managing multiple priorities and ability to re-prioritize as appropriate.
- Ability to think strategically.
- Understanding of Project Management methodologies.
