Full Job Description
This position is responsible for working on new projects, 3PL integration and support / maintenance in the Shipping & Transportation / 3PL functional area. This role will require working with our Supply Chain business counterparts & 3rd party logistics providers on defining functional & business requirements for new projects necessary to integrate 3rd party TMS providers & warehousing / transportation 3PLs into our global SAP environment. This role requires an understanding of the corporate and business strategies, as well as functional/technical expertise within the SAP environment. This person is expected to possess and demonstrate an understanding of the sales & distribution and logistics execution functional area of responsibility within SAP, as well as, a working knowledge of transportation & logistics EDI transactions. This role is global in nature and will support both our Snacks & M&B business units. WHAT YOU WILL DO... • Work with business partners & cross functional process teams to develop, design and implement approved Transportation & Logistics (3PL) projects. (25%) • Solution delivery to support corporate transportation enterprise & logistics iniatives. Leverage industry best practices in process improvement where applicable. (20%) • Produce deliverables related to assigned projects or enhancements and assist in training. (10%) • Works with the IT Digital Partner to propose technical solutions on changing business needs (10%) • Participate in developing testing plans and in applications testing, including test automation. (10%) • Translate high level business requirements into functional specifications for approved projects in functional area. (10%) • Work directly with Project Manager during all project phases and communicate effectively. (5%) • Assist with support for complex cross-functional business issues (5%) • Influence customers on proposed S&T / 3PL integration design which follows guiding principles or standards. (5%) • Works regularly with IT Digital Partner, cross functional IT team and SC business partners. • Works on large projects that have enterprise-wide impact and require subject matter expertise of the shipping & transportation & EDI area. • Plan/manage work activity for simultaneous projects. • Possesses strong design/analytical skills, and applies these to technical decisions on emerging technologies. • Strong process improvement skills • Role is global / enterprise in nature and supports all BU's (Snacks & M&B) WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE... (MUST HAVE) • Minimum 5 years of business experience / IT experience • Basic knowledge of project management methodologies • Experience with SAP Sales & Distribution & Logistics Execution modules. • Experience with EDI transaction sets & integration of 3rd party logistics providers • Years of Relevant Experience: 3-5 years SAP functional / technical experience in sales & distribution • Knowledge in HPALM, Azure Dev Ops, Databricks, and ServiceNow a plus Business competencies: • Ability to work with business partners and IT partners to develop, design and implement approved Transportation & Logistics projects. • Exhibited knowledge and capability to fully understand how the Function / Business Unit operates, in what markets, with what competitive advantages / disadvantages • Ability to work independently & quickly learn and understand business requirements, objectives, processes, and translate those to IT functional designs & solutions. • CPG experience preferred Personal competencies: • Strong business partnering and relationship management skills • Strong communications skills, both written and oral • Strong analytical skills and broad business acumen with an enterprise mindset. • Ability to influence and to provide new and different perspectives to Supply Chain business partners. • Strong leadership courage • Self Motivated & works well independently • Ability to facilitate meetings effectively. • Collaborates well in a team environment. Minimum education required: Bachelors Degree with preference in Computer Technology, Information Systems or other related field. Working Conditions Primary location in Camden World Headquarters. Travel Requirements: 15% due to project work, training, or other related work. Compensation and Benefits: The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between $95,000-$130,700 Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
