Customer & Product AnalyticsAs a Business Analyst you will be responsible for providing analytic expertise to support sales reporting and the administration of incentive compensation plans for Popular Bank. You will gather, organize, validate, and analyze data to provide actionable insights on sales performance and ensure timely & accurate incentive compensation payouts. You will serve as the liaison between the back office and sales teams to field questions, concerns, and requests. This role requires excellent communication skills and proficiency with Excel and data analysis.
In this position, you will:Analytics- Gather and analyze customer and product data to identify trends and opportunities
- Partner with stakeholders to understand project scope and reporting requirements
- Develop and distribute ad hoc and recurring reports to support management decisions and business partners
- Build and maintain dashboards using data visualization tools for use by multiple teams
- Support research efforts for multiple business lines
Marketing Support- Have a general awareness & understanding of marketing strategies & campaigns
- Support marketing initiatives at the planning, execution, and evaluation stages
- Measure campaign results, analyze outcomes & provide insights to stakeholders
- Partner with fellow customer & product analysts to quantify how marketing activities impact sales
Database- Contribute to the maintenance and continued development of the analytics data warehouse
- Assist with source data preparation, monthly integrations, and monitoring
- Identify and troubleshoot complex issues as they arise
To be considered, you will need:- At least 3 years of relevant work experience as an analyst or similar role, preferably financial services
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills with proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications to include Excel
- Familiarity with reporting and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms preferred.
Base Salary & BenefitsOur base salary for this position located in
New York City generally ranges between
$100,000.00 and
$120,000.00 annually, depending on business need and on your qualifications and experience. Base salary does not include incentive compensation, commission, or any other type of remuneration or benefits.
