PURPOSE This position partners with departments across the Association to analyze business needs, evaluate and implement enterprise solutions, and lead projects and process improvement initiatives. This position uses data-driven insights to improve organizational performance and support the Associations strategic objectives.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION 1. Communicate with internal departments and other stakeholders to understand need for business analytics and technology solutions.
2. Evaluate enterprise solutions to identify opportunities for process improvement and recommend solutions that align with organization objectives.
3. Manage, establish and maintain data analysis processes and best practices to improve data analysis capabilities.
4. Identify and make recommendation(s) to resolve any problems with the current processes.
5. Manage and conduct ongoing reviews of enterprise solutions and business processes to identify optimization strategies.
6. Analyze operational and business data to identify trends, support decision making and evaluate effectiveness of business processes.
7. Use tools and techniques to visualize business insights for end users through use of dashboards and reporting tools.
8. Prepare reports and present findings to management.
9. Stay up to date on the latest enterprise software application advancements to automate and modernize processes.
10. Document and communicate process changes and requirements.
11. Manage the performance improvement process by analyzing various processes in determining operational value and objectives.
12. Liaison between departments and other workgroups to collect, analyze and translate business improvements and requirements into documentation and conceptual design from which enterprise solutions are developed.
13. Manage improvements in how the Association conducts functions and activities to reduce costs, provide efficient use of resources, and enhance the member experience.
14. Facilitate and implement technical projects and objectives which may require considerable resources and high levels of functional integration.
15. Communicate with management regarding the status of business processes and technical initiatives.
16. Lead technology and process improvement initiatives by coordinating stakeholders, documenting requirements, developing project plans, facilitating user acceptance testing, monitoring performance, and ensuring successful implementation.
17. Promotes a safety culture in which safety is a value. This culture is based on joint and individual engagement, ownership, and accountability regarding job safety and responsibility to perform work safely and adhere to safe work practices .

ESSENTIAL POSITION REQUIREMENTS Qualified candidates are required to have:
- A bachelors degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
- Five (5) years of relevant experience.
- A valid drivers license and a driving record, which is acceptable by the Associations Driving Policy and insurable by the Association and the Associations insurance carrier at standard group rates.
Preference may be given to candidates with:
- A relevant masters degree in data science, data analytics, business management, or other relevant field.
- Project Management Institute Certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP and/or PMP-ACP).
- Agile Certified Professional (ACP), IC Agile, LEAN Six Sigma.
- Familiarity of NISCs iVUE software.
- Utility experience.

EMPLOYMENT STATUS This position is classified as an exempt, non-represented position; and therefore is not eligible for overtime compensation. All Association employees are expected to work widely varying amounts of time outside the normal shifts to assist in power restoration or other needs of the Association.
