Full Job Description
Position Summary

Bridges the gap between business needs and technical execution, ensuring solutions are both effective and sustainable. Partner with various University departments to capture and translate requirements into solutions that align with enterprise architectural standards, scale to meet future needs, and deliver measurable value. Develop and steward business and technical documentation that captures enterprise-aligned requirements, user journeys, and expected outcomes. Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards and roadmaps by facilitating early engagement with the Architecture Review Board (ARB), technical SMEs, and governance groups.

Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree

Preferred Education:
Bachelor's Degree in STEM, Business or Liberal Arts

Required Experience:
3+ years related experience in business analysis, project coordination, requirements gathering, and product management on a variety of projects and scales. or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Experience:
3+ years product management on a variety of projects and scales within a large, complex, multi-stakeholder organization, preferably in an institute of higher education, and in a dynamic environment.

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Demonstrated knowledge of business analysis and product management methodologies. Experience with project and service management platforms, techniques, and methodologies (e.g., ServiceNow, Asana, Jira, monday.com), with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment. Ability to understand user characteristics and their needs, and to translate them into clear requirements. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to interpret and communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audience. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team and project-oriented environment. Demonstrated proactive and resourceful mindset, with the ability to identify and remove operational obstacles. Proven ability to effectively perform tasks on multiple projects simultaneously. Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.

Additional Information

In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $99,000.00 to USD $121,000.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
