Role overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced Business Analyst III to lead cross-functional initiatives from planning through delivery within a complex oil and gas environment. The Business Analyst III will focus on business process optimisation, change management, AI-enabled analysis, and digital solution delivery, while supporting improvements across operational and compliance-related functions. This Business Analyst III opportunity offers the chance to influence large-scale programmes, drive automation, and deliver measurable value through Power BI, Power Apps, SharePoint, and stakeholder-led transformation.

Required Education:

- University degree or equivalent experience.

Required Experience:

- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in the oil and gas sector.

- Demonstrated experience supporting field operations and business process optimisation initiatives.

- Proven background leading or supporting cross-functional projects across multiple business areas.

- Experience working across functions such as asset management, pipeline integrity, facility integrity, work management, and compliance.

- Strong track record of balancing multiple concurrent initiatives while maintaining delivery quality and stakeholder alignment.

- Experience contributing to projects with broad organisational impact.

Required Skills:

- Strong business analysis capability, including eliciting, translating, and prioritising business requirements.

- Ability to facilitate stakeholder workshops and clarify needs, assumptions, constraints, and priorities.

- Experience developing and maintaining requirements artefacts, including business rules and business, functional, and technical requirements.

- Ability to document operating model impacts, controls, and opportunities for automation and harmonisation.

- Strong change management capability, including stakeholder identification, communication planning, adoption planning, and sustainment activities.

- Ability to translate complex technical information into clear language for non-technical audiences.

- Experience using Artificial Intelligence tools such as Microsoft Copilot to support analysis, documentation, and communication.

- Capability to develop, publish, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reporting for operational KPIs, initiative performance, and adoption metrics.

- Experience designing and supporting solutions using Power Apps and SharePoint, including lists, forms, workflows, and document management.

- Strong analytical, critical thinking, communication, and facilitation skills.

- Project leadership capability with the ability to influence without direct authority.

- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, MS Project, Visio, SharePoint, and Teams.

- Ability to flex between project management, business analysis, and change leadership responsibilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

- PMP, PBA/CBAP, or similar project or business analysis certification.

- Six Sigma certification.

- Change management experience such as ProSci certification.

Working Environment:

- Hybrid work model combining office and remote working.

- Minimal travel unless assigned to field-related projects.

- Overtime may be required in line with project demands.
