Job Title: SAP Logistics Business Improvement Analyst
Location: Onsite - Houston, TX
Employment Type: W2 Contract Only
Pay Rate: $57/hour (W2)
Duration: 12 Months
Work Hours: 40 hours/week

Introduction
TPG is hiring a Commercial Logistics BI Specialist to support a leading organization in the oil and gas sector. This high-impact role will join the Business Improvement (BI) team, focusing on SAP S4 logistics operations, system interface management, and cross-functional data analytics initiatives. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and brings strong rail logistics and refinery operations experience to the table.

This is an onsite role based in Houston, TX, offering the opportunity to contribute to strategic transformation initiatives in one of the most critical business units of the organization.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related discipline
  • 5+ years of experience in oil & gas logistics, with a strong emphasis on rail operations
  • 3+ years of hands-on SAP S4 experience
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and systems troubleshooting skills
  • Experience with logistics systems interface monitoring and issue resolution
  • Excellent collaboration, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to lead or support business improvement projects and system upgrades
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
  • 5+ years of SAP S4 and R3 experience (focus on Vendor Billing Docs, Nominations, R3 Shipment Cost Docs, and ticketing)
  • 3+ years of SAP iDoc experience
  • Experience working with nomination and accrual processes
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools for analytics and reporting
  • Prior experience in business process optimization and cross-functional collaboration
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  • Monitor and troubleshoot SAP interfaces with Truck and Rail applications
