Full Job Description
DDC is seeking two highly motivated Business Analyst II-Processes & Integration professionals to support business process improvement, strategic planning, executive-level coordination, innovation, and program integration efforts within a high-visibility Department of the Air Force environment.

These positions will support a high-visibility Innovation workstream that is helping transform how the Department of the Air Force (DAF) identifies, evaluates, and scales innovation across the enterprise. The objective is not simply to comply with policy, but to fundamentally improve the innovation process by identifying organizational pain points, translating those into actionable opportunities, and developing a repeatable framework that enables Airmen and Guardians to elevate innovative ideas and, when appropriate, scale successful solutions across the DAF.

The selected candidates will work directly with senior leaders and stakeholders to assess organizational challenges, facilitate collaboration across functional and organizational boundaries, develop strategic recommendations, and support enterprise initiatives that improve mission effectiveness and organizational performance. Successful candidates must be capable of operating independently, engaging confidently with executive stakeholders, and delivering high-quality analytical products that support decision-making at the headquarters level.

Responsibilities:
  • Support Department of the Air Force innovation, transformation, and integration initiatives.
  • Perform business process analysis, process mapping, and process improvement activities to identify opportunities for increased effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Identify organizational pain points, operational challenges, and barriers to innovation through stakeholder engagement and data-driven analysis.
  • Translate complex problems into actionable recommendations that improve business processes, organizational performance, and mission outcomes.
  • Support the development and implementation of repeatable innovation frameworks and governance processes for evaluating, prioritizing, and scaling innovative solutions across the DAF.
  • Facilitate meetings, workshops, working groups, and executive engagements with senior military and civilian leaders.
  • Develop executive-level briefings, reports, white papers, decision papers, presentations, and other strategic communications products.
  • Support strategic planning efforts by developing objectives, milestones, metrics, implementation plans, and performance measures.
  • Coordinate across multiple organizations to ensure alignment of priorities, initiatives, and program objectives.
  • Manage schedules, milestones, action items, deliverables, and project documentation to ensure successful execution of initiatives.
  • Track innovation initiatives, organizational improvement efforts, and leadership-directed actions through completion.
  • Provide analytical support to executive leadership in evaluating organizational performance and strategic initiatives.
  • Assist in the development of recommendations that improve enterprise integration, organizational effectiveness, and mission execution.
  • Support project and program management activities, including planning, coordination, status reporting, and performance monitoring.

Qualifications:
  • Years of Experience: Three (3) years relevant experience
  • Education Level: Bachelor's degree
  • Clearance Requirements: Secret
  • Prior Department of Defense experience supporting:
    • Performance Management & Improvement organizations;
    • Processes and Integration organizations; or
    • Similar headquarters-level business transformation, innovation, strategic planning, or organizational effectiveness initiatives.
    • Experience conducting business process analysis and business process improvement activities.
    • Experience supporting project or program management efforts.
    • Experience facilitating meetings and engaging with senior stakeholders.
    • Experience developing executive-level reports, presentations, briefings, and documentation.
    • Demonstrated ability to manage schedules, action items, milestones, and deliverables across multiple initiatives.
    • Strong analytical, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience supporting Department of the Air Force or other DoD headquarters organizations.
  • Experience supporting innovation programs, organizational transformation efforts, or continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma, Continuous Process Improvement (CPI), or similar business process improvement methodologies.
  • Experience supporting executive-level governance forums, working groups, and strategic planning activities.
  • Familiarity with innovation lifecycle management, organizational change management, or enterprise integration initiatives.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Teams.
  • Experience developing strategic communications products for senior executives and decision-makers.
