Business Analyst I: 202945

? Greenville, South Carolina | Hybrid

? $35-$50/hour W-2, depending on experience

? Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-5:00 PM

? Long-term contract | No anticipated end date

We are looking for a Business Analyst 1 with experience in MFA, IAM, IT security, systems analysis, business process analysis, testing, and IT project leadership to support a global authentication and access management environment.

This position will work closely with business units, IT teams, development teams, and global network teams to analyze business processes, define system requirements, support IT solutions, and help lead small to medium-sized projects.

• Technical documentation, process documentation, and test plans
• Unit and integration testing
• Automated testing and deployment processes
• Complex incident troubleshooting and Level 3 support
• Technical consultation and subject matter expertise
• Project plans, schedules, change control, and stakeholder communication
• Working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
• Database, operating system, and IT infrastructure fundamentals

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Support and maintain a global Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) environment.
• Serve as a technical lead and Subject Matter Expert (SME) for authentication, access management, IAM, and IT security initiatives.
• Partner with business units to analyze current "as-is" processes, identify problems, and define "to-be" processes.
• Analyze business and technical requirements and translate high-level requirements into detailed functional specifications for IT development.
• Review system capabilities, workflows, scheduling limitations, and existing technology to determine appropriate solutions.
• Identify when a requirement can be addressed through system configuration versus programming.
• Prepare time and cost estimates for projects.
• Perform and document system configuration.
• Coordinate system interface design and development.
• Prepare and coordinate technical reports, process documentation, test plans, training needs assessments, and implementation plans.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex MFA-related incidents and requests and provide Level 3 support.
• Research and coordinate feasibility studies and recommend process changes and automation opportunities.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, cost savings, and quality improvement.
• Create process changes by integrating new processes with existing processes.
• Stay current on technical trends, future innovations, available solutions, and IT best practices.
• Serve as an IT project manager for small to medium-sized projects, including coordinating resources, conducting status meetings, and communicating project status to stakeholders.
• Develop project plans, manage change control processes, and ensure tasks are completed on time and within budget.
• Work closely with business partners to understand requirements and determine the appropriate system design.
• Prepare business process mapping, functional design, and business process gap analysis.
• Analyze business operations to identify strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities to automate processes and functions.
• Assist with business process redesign and documentation.
• Serve as a liaison between the business and IT development teams to ensure technical solutions meet business requirements.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, procedures, and automated test scripts using Postman.
• Perform unit and integration testing and support automated testing and deployment activities.
• Provide on-call support as needed.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

3+ years of experience in:

• IT governance and the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Planning, analyzing, testing, and designing IT solutions
• IT project leadership or system responsibility
• Systems analysis
• Team-oriented, collaborative IT environments
• In addition, candidates should have:
• Strong experience with MFA and IAM technologies
• Background in IT security, authentication, and access control solutions
• Experience troubleshooting complex IT incidents and providing Level 3 support
• Experience creating technical documentation, test plans, and test scripts
• Knowledge of databases, operating systems, and IT infrastructure

EDUCATION

Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in:

Computer Science

Information Technology

Science

Business

OR

Equivalent of 4 years of experience in an IT application or infrastructure role PLUS the required years of experience.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

• Postman and automated testing experience
• Enterprise-scale or global IT environment experience
• Experience with OpenText Advanced Authentication or a similar authentication platform
• Project Management training
• Training in systems used within the assigned area of responsibility

WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Approximately 80% remote / 20% onsite
• Primary work location is the Greenville, South Carolina area
• Occasional work in a manufacturing environment
• Occasional travel to other company locations may be required
• International travel may occasionally be required
• Normal office environment with extensive computer use
• Overtime and on-call activities may be required
