Location: Candidates in the Columbus, Ohio and Jacksonville, Florida area are preferred; remote employment is also possible for candidates in Alabama, Indiana, Michigan, North Carolina, Tennessee, and Texas.
Compensation Range: $108,000 - $116,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
As a Business Analyst, you'll be at the heart of our product development process-bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions. You'll work closely with stakeholders to gather and translate requirements, ensuring our systems and applications deliver value to both our members and employees.
What You'll Do
• Partner with product owners to translate business objectives, product roadmaps, and stakeholder needs into actionable requirements and backlog items.
• Facilitate discovery and requirements-gathering sessions to understand business processes, objectives, challenges, and opportunities.
• Develop clear, concise, and testable user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional requirements that support Agile delivery.
• Refine and prioritize product backlogs in collaboration with product owners and delivery teams.
• Analyze business requirements for completeness, feasibility, consistency, and alignment with organizational standards.
• Document workflows, business processes, system requirements, and solution designs using diagrams, process maps, and other analysis tools.
• Support Agile ceremonies including backlog refinement, sprint planning, daily standups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Track and manage requirements throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring changes are effectively communicated and documented.
• Prepare reports, recommendations, and solution alternatives to address business and system challenges.
What you Bring
• Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Education/certification in Business Analysis or Software Development is a plus.
• 3 to 5 years of progressive experience in Business Analysis or Product Development is required.
• Experience with Agile methodologies, including the design, development, and implementation of software solutions, systems, or products.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Demonstrated experience eliciting requirements, facilitating stakeholder discussions, and documenting business processes.
• Experience with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
• Experience with Azure DevOps or comparable Agile work management tool.
