Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support enterprise application modernization, integration, and data initiatives. The role focuses on analyzing business needs, translating objectives into system requirements, developing user stories and acceptance criteria, supporting Agile delivery, and facilitating collaboration between business stakeholders, technical teams, and project teams. The ideal candidate will have strong experience working with complex IT systems, requirements management, process analysis, data analysis, project governance, and enterprise technology environments.

Key Responsibilities:
• Create, present, and maintain user stories, acceptance criteria, demo expectations, and design documents.
• Create, document, trace, maintain, prioritize, and assess changes to business processes and associated requirements.
• Work closely with key decision-makers, system owners, end users, and subject matter experts to support core processes and business objectives.
• Conduct research, gather data, analyze problems, and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Query and analyze data to identify solutions, alternative methods, process improvements, and opportunities to redesign products or services.
• Advise stakeholders on alternative approaches to address business needs and recommend specific solutions.
• Work within Agile methodologies with a focus on delivering business value and adapting to changing requirements.
• Collaborate with IT organizations and project teams to drive initiatives to successful completion.
• Perform process mapping, group facilitation, data gathering, and analysis throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support requirements gathering, design, development, deployment, training, and effectiveness measurement activities.
• Analyze business strategies and user needs, document specifications, and translate business objectives into system requirements.
• Guide stakeholders through business case development for new applications and functionality, including cost-benefit and risk-impact analysis.
• Identify opportunities to deliver business value, avoid costs, modernize processes, and improve organizational capabilities.
• Drive continuous improvement of business processes, technologies, and system support.
• Decompose complex business concepts into manageable tasks while maintaining an end-to-end business process perspective.
• Collaborate with other business units to identify and deliver enterprise-wide value.
• Consult with executive-level stakeholders to define business needs, problems, and potential solutions.
• Develop and maintain effective communication across business, technical, and project teams.

Required Qualifications:
• 8+ years of experience working on large and complex IT systems.
• 8+ years of experience eliciting requirements, writing user stories and design documents, defining acceptance criteria, validating testing outcomes, and facilitating communication between business stakeholders, developers, and project teams.
• 8+ years of experience with SDLC procedures and system development methodologies.
• 8+ years of experience managing stakeholder expectations and priorities.
• 8+ years of experience working within project governance structures, including methodologies, required templates, and reporting.
• 8+ years of experience managing multiple tasks and changing priorities in cross-functional environments.
• 8+ years of experience prioritizing and managing multiple projects and project activities while meeting established deadlines.
• 8+ years of experience with Microsoft development platforms and software.
• 6+ years of experience working in Agile environments.
• 5+ years of experience with Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tools such as Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS), Visual Studio Team Services (VSTS), Azure DevOps, Atlassian Jira, or IBM Rational Team Concert (RTC).
• 5+ years of experience working with Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio or other relational database software.
• 3+ years of experience with advanced information management practices, data modeling standards, and/or architecture design and analysis.
• Experience delivering software as part of an Agile delivery team.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Strong ability to work independently within time constraints and changing priorities.
• Strong task management, analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Experience providing consulting services to enterprise or public-sector organizations.
• Ability to communicate effectively with executives, managers, IT professionals, and subject matter experts.
• Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Business, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
