This position is located in our Lafayette, Louisiana or Knoxville, TN office; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable.
Your future duties and responsibilities: . Elicit, analyze, and document business, functional, and technical requirements for enterprise systems and software
. Collaborate with product owners, stakeholders, developers, and UX/UI teams to translate requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows
. Lead or support backlog refinement, sprint planning, and Agile ceremonies
. Conduct gap analysis, process mapping, and workflow optimization to improve business processes and system functionality
. Facilitate requirements workshops, interviews, and user feedback sessions
. Develop and maintain business analysis artifacts (e.g., user stories, process diagrams, requirements traceability matrices)
. Assist with user acceptance testing (UAT), defect triage, and validation of delivered solutions
. Ensure solutions comply with federal standards (e.g., Section 508 accessibility, security, and privacy requirements)
. Support change management, training, and documentation efforts
. Communicate findings, recommendations, and status to technical and non-technical audiences
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
. Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
. 3-5 years of experience as a business analyst or similar role in software/system environments
. Experience eliciting and documenting requirements for web applications or enterprise systems
. Proficiency with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jira)
. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process mapping skills
. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
. Experience collaborating in cross-functional Agile teams
. Eligibility for federal background investigation and compliance with security requirements (U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent residency with 3+ years residency)
Desired qualifications/non-essential skills required:
Experience supporting enterprise-scale applications in regulated or federal environments
Familiarity with Section 508 accessibility, security, and privacy requirements
Experience with user acceptance testing (UAT) and quality assurance
Certifications in business analysis (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA, Agile BA)
Experience mentoring or guiding junior analysts

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $56,600.00 - $139,300.00.
