Job DescriptionOverview- The Business Analyst (BA)'s responsibilities will include understanding the counterparty credit exposure measurement for various products, mapping source data to internal monitoring reporting (e.g., Counterparty Concentration Report), external regulatory reporting (i.e., Large Exposure Framework (LEF) and Single Counterparty Credit Limit (SCCL)), and supporting production-related items.
- Primarily, the BA will create mapping logic for counterparty credit exposure reporting or create requirement documents and liaise with IT developers to communicate those requirements, plan/coordinate all user testing, coordinate implementation/migration as necessary, and communicate both written and verbal project status updates to the project leadership team and/or senior management throughout the project lifecycle.
What Will You Do- Understanding various product attributes from upstream (e.g., Lending Product, Facility, Security, Security Finance Transaction (SFT), and Derivative).
- Picking up new concepts and applying them quickly (e.g., LEF Risk Shifting for Credit Default Swap (CDS), SFT, Derivative, Guarantees, and LC Fronting).
- Performing data gap analysis, systems, processes, and procedures as required for the project.
- Create reporting mapping logic or requirement documents.
- Communicating requirements to development and QA, performing testing, coordinating UAT testing, and assisting with production implementation.
- Contributing to process reengineering and process improvement where applicable.
- Supporting user training and documentation as needed.
- Reporting the BA team's working status and raising concerns or issues that may hinder project progress as planned to management and PMs.
What Do You Need to SucceedMust-Have- Experience in systems implementation, process improvements, or systems reengineering projects with a banking organization or consulting company.
- Undergraduate degree or higher, preferably in Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or Finance.
- Knowledge of SDLC lifecycle, Agile, and other methodologies.
- Experience in SQL through HIVE, MS SQL Server, Teradata, HUE, Dremio, etc.
- Advanced MS Word, MS Project, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, Visio, and MS Access.
The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: 72,000 to 90,909
