As your initial project assignment, you will support the unique needs of our client as a Business Analyst.Project Summary

As a Technical Business Analyst, you will serve as the critical bridge between mission stakeholders and technical teams. You will not only capture business needs and help design, develop, and deliver solutions that meet mission requirements, but will also work with the Web Operations Team to deliver Out of the Box (OOTB) solutions and integrated customer support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Meet with customers, in-person and virtually, to understand, collect, and analyze business needs.
  • Participating in agile development teams to design, develop, test, and deliver business solutions.
  • Assist with solution enhancements, bug fixes, user permission management, and platform migrations as needed.
  • Train customers to use newly developed solutions and work alongside content owners to update and manage SharePoint site content.
  • Design, develop, test, and deliver line of business solutions using OOTB SharePoint functionality and other low-code/no-code platforms (Power Platform).
  • Collaborate with development teams for larger modernization and development efforts, translating business needs into actionable technical requirements and user stories.

Required For This Opportunity
  • Proven ability to collect, analyze, and translate requirements to build effective solutions.
  • Good understanding of SharePoint information architecture (creating sites, pages, lists, libraries, webparts) with a strong desire and aptitude to learn modern low-code tools.
  • Excellent interpersonal and soft skills; ability to form strong relationships and work seamlessly with customers at various position levels within the government and military.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working effectively with minimal oversight, while remaining a highly collaborative team player.
  • Demonstrated ability to clearly explain technical concepts and train end-users on new applications.
  • Secret clearance required, with the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance.


Nice to Have Skills
  • Hands-on experience with the Power Platform suite, Power BI report creation, SharePoint Online (SPO), O365 tools, and SharePoint Subscription Edition (SPSE).
  • Practical experience working within Agile development frameworks.
  • Active DoD 8140/8570 baseline certification (e.g., CompTIA Security+) is a plus.
At AIS, we are committed to offering competitive and fair compensation that reflects the skills, experience, and contributions of each team member.The targeted base salary range for this role is $90,000-$137,000 per year. Please note that this range is provided as a guideline and the final offer will be based on several factors, including but not limited to, skillset and competencies, level of experience, education, certifications, and location.We value transparency in our hiring process and are happy to discuss how your unique qualifications align with our compensation structure during the interview process.
