Full Job Description
*** This position must be located in Overland Park, KS; Bellevue, WA; Frisco,TX; New York, NY; or Maitland, FL. This is not a remote role, this is a hybrid schedule requiring at least 3 days a week in office.

The Business Analysis Manager, Data Quality is responsible for leading the execution of data quality initiatives that ensure the accuracy, completeness, consistency, and reliability of enterprise reporting and analytics solutions. This role partners closely with data engineering, reporting, business intelligence, and analytics teams to establish data quality standards, monitor data integrity, identify root causes of data issues, and implement sustainable remediation processes.
The Business Analysis Manager, Data Quality oversees day-to-day data quality operations, drives governance adherence, and leads a team of analysts and data quality professionals focused on validating data across data warehouses, data lakes, reporting platforms, and analytical solutions. This role serves as a key liaison between technical and business stakeholders to ensure trusted data is available for operational and strategic decision-making.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Partner with data engineering, reporting, and business insights teams to validate data accuracy from source systems through report delivery and analytics consumption.
  • Lead data quality monitoring processes, controls, and audits to ensure data integrity across data warehouses, data lakes, and reporting environments.
  • Develop and maintain data quality frameworks, standards, metrics, and scorecards that measure data health and operational effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze data requirements and support architecture, design, and implementation efforts that improve data reliability.
  • Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve data discrepancies, defects, and integration issues through root cause analysis and corrective action plans.
  • Oversee data profiling, validation, reconciliation, and data wrangling activities involving structured and unstructured data sources.
  • Manage data quality workstreams and support project delivery by assisting with planning, prioritization, estimation, and resource allocation.
  • Facilitate workshops, design reviews, and stakeholder meetings to drive alignment on data quality requirements and governance practices.
  • Mentor and develop team members in data quality methodologies, governance standards, and analytical problem-solving techniques.
  • Support management reporting, executive presentations, and status communications regarding data quality performance and improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with enterprise data governance policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.


Education and Work Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree plus 5 years of related work experience OR Advanced degree with 3 years of related experience (Required)
  • Acceptable areas of study include Data analysis, data science, similar quantitative fields or equivalent practical experience (Required)
  • 4-7 years Working experience solving analytical problems using quantitative approaches (Required)
  • 4-7 years Working experience reporting and analyzing performance & dta visualization (Tableau, Power BI, etc.) (Required)
  • 4-7 years Working experience in advanced analytics, which includes SQL analysis of complex datasets, competitive analysis, quantitative analysis & research (Required)
  • Working experience with Python, R, Go or similar statistics or data science language preferred. (Preferred)

Base Pay Range: $77,900 - $140,500

Corporate Bonus Target: 15%

The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate's actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.

At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee's eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance.
