  • Facilitate ordering and inventory management for burn accounts
  • Collaborate on initiatives with Clinical Affairs and Medical Affairs

Full Job Description
The Burn Specialist is part of the Operating Room (OR) Business Unit and reports to an Area Director or Vice President for assigned accounts.

Candidate must be local to TX or CA

Essential Functions
  • Help position Integra to become the #1 Regenerative Solution for the Burn Market, and those procedures conducted in the Burn OR
  • Manage, Develop, sell, in-service all assigned Integra Burn accounts in Geographic area and other areas of the US as necessary and as determined by Area Director
  • Educate the Burn Community on the benefits of Integra Burn utilizing KOLs doing weekly/ bi-weekly education events.
  • Attend all approved Burn-related meetings in the coverage area
  • Travel as required to all assigned Burn accounts for in-servicing, education and application
  • Facilitate ordering process and inventory for Burn accounts, working closely with the Area Director and Enterprise Accounts Director to ensure all Burn-related opportunities are maximized
  • Work closely with Clinical Affairs / Medical Affairs on the development of a Burn Advisory Committee, Burn Center of Excellence, Burn KOL Development, Burn Abstracts / Studies / Registries and other burn-related initiatives in the coverage area
  • Assist in the training and development of local Integra sales team so they are proficient in Burn to assist on the day-to-day in assigned account(s) as required.
  • Conduct Burn training for Integra staff as necessary
  • Assist Marketing and Sales in crafting the sales strategy for Burn
  • Exceed established new business requirements
  • Work closely with the contracting team to develop a strong economic model committed to Burn facilities.


Qualifications / Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 4 years of professional or related experience
  • Previous Manager of burn teams preferred
  • Prior burn portfolio sales experience
  • Burn unit relationships
  • Contracting/sales experience specific to hospital OR


Other: Required
  • The ability to work in Operating room environment.
  • Ability to travel which may include weekend and/or overnight travel.

  • Strong interpersonal communication, influencing, critical thinking and problem solving skills required.
  • A qualified candidate will be efficient, organized, self-motivated, positive and pro-active
  • Strong technical product knowledge of surgical instruments, procedures, protocols and solutions preferred
  • Prior burn portfolio sales experience
  • Contracting/sales experience specific to hospital OR
