The City of Breckenridge is accepting applications for a Building Official/Zoning Administrator.
• Reviews new and alteration building construction plans for compliance with State & City codes.
• Issues building permits.
• Inspects and re-inspects properties to ensure compliance with applicable codes, ordinances and standards.
• Assists with the planning, design, construction and inspection of public improvement projects.
• Inspects rental properties to issue Certificate of Health and Safety.
• Prepares for and attends various meetings.
• Public Nuisance Abatement.
• Assists the Planning Commission with various applications including variances, conditional use, zoning amendments, and platting.
