About This Role: - Perform project management duties
- Facilitate a Multi-Disciplinary Team, Early Assistance, and Issue Resolution Meetings
- Serve as the Project Management Branch Representative on Process Action Teams
- Maintain accurate project records
Minimum Requirements: High School Diploma and 6 years of related experience (Development Project Manager, Plans Reviewer, Construction Inspector, and/or Code Enforcement Inspector)
Preferences: - Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Demonstrated experience managing processes, projects, and process improvement teams
- Thorough knowledge of the Virginia Uniform Statewide Building Code (VUSBC)
- Demonstrated ability to apply building code exemptions and exceptions to projects
- Experience as a Project Manager, Plans Reviewer, Construction/Code Enforcement Inspector
Work Schedule: This position works a standard Monday-Friday schedule, working 37.5 hours per week.
This position offers the ability to telework 1-2 days per week after an initial probationary period.
This is a telework-eligible position that may revert to in-office scheduling if business needs change.
Special Requirements: Must become certified by the State of Virginia as a Technical Assistant to the Building Official within 18 months of employment, which includes the Virginia Certified Commercial Plans Reviewer.
Must complete a DMV background check as a condition of employment.
Starting Salary Range: $76,069.50 - $108,733.94
