Work You'll Do

As a Manager, Functional Transformation on the Government & Public Services team, you will be responsible for:
  • Advise federal stakeholders on strategy, governance, and delivery across mission-critical application modernization and operations efforts.
  • Lead cross-functional teams supporting application development, maintenance, production support, and environment management for enterprise platforms.
  • Oversee cloud, DevOps, and quality engineering activities, including deployment processes, automation, security checks, and release coordination.
  • Manage stakeholder communications, executive status reporting, risk tracking, and issue resolution across multiple workstreams and delivery teams.
  • Support capture and growth activities by leading technical responses, developing solution content, and preparing estimates and level of effort assessments.

Qualifications

Required:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience supporting federal technology programs and enterprise application operations and maintenance
  • Experience leading distributed development, testing, and support teams across multiple geographies and time zones
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services, DevOps practices, and continuous delivery pipelines
  • Experience with FedRAMP, Section 508, and accessibility validation tools including WAVE and ANDI
  • Ability to travel 25%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.
Preferred:
  • Experience supporting the U.S. Department of Agriculture or other federal civilian agencies
  • Experience with SonarQube, Invicti, and Nessus
  • Experience leading integration, automation, load, security, and user acceptance testing efforts
  • Experience developing responses to requests for information and preparing level of effort estimates
  • Experience onboarding and mentoring developers, testers, or support team members
For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in a remote role, Deloitte is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to a remote role and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $128,000 to $252,500.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
