Northrop Grumman Business Management is seeking a Budget Analyst to lead overhead budgets. This position can be located in our offices based in Melbourne, FL, St Augustine, FL, or El Segundo, CA.
This position will seek to meet the financial goals and objectives of the organization. Responsibilities include but are not limited to overseeing and coordinating all aspects of Functional Business Management for an organization: indirect expense planning and monitoring, time charging and compliance policy guidance, manpower forecasting, and other activities.
Ideal candidate must be self-motivated and have strong interpersonal skills. Oral and written communication skills are imperative to the successful execution of job responsibilities. Candidate will need very strong technical skills with Excel, strong analytical and organizational skills. Communication and presentation skills are a requirement for the position due to frequent interaction with all levels of management (Director, Center Managers, Department Managers, Section Managers, Technical Staff).
Basic Qualifications:
- BS/BA Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration
- 2 years of related experience in budgeting, finance, accounting, facilities cost management, or similar experience
- Strong Excel skills and other Microsoft Office products (PowerPoint, Word, etc.)
- Solid oral and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Highly organized
- Knowledge of SAP/S4 a plus
- Tableau/Database knowledge a plus
- Knowledge of financial reporting and accounting principles
- Demonstrated ability to effectively participate on team projects
Salary range will be dependent upon where the position is based/located and follows our company geographic salary bands aligned with position. Specific salary offer for candidate selected will be commensurate with experience.
Florida Salary Band: $59,600 - $89,400
El Segundo, CA Salary Band: $69,000- $103,400
Primary Level Salary Range: $59,600.00 - $103,400.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
