YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES- Lead and manage the design and development of bridge projects including steel and concrete superstructures, substructures, and retaining walls
- Perform and check structural analysis and design calculations
- Oversee plan development, quantity calculations, and construction cost estimates
- Conduct QA/QC reviews of project documents and calculations
- Coordinate with clients, subconsultants, and agency personnel
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineering staff
- Support business development efforts including proposal preparation and client presentations
WHAT YOU'LL BRING- BS or MS from an ABET accredited university in Civil or Structural Engineering
- 5-10 years of applicable bridge engineering experience
- PE licensure in WV or OH required or ability to obtain within a reasonable timeframe
- Proven experience with design of all bridge components in accordance with AASHTO LRFD
- Proficiency in OpenRoads and/or MicroStation
- Experience with bridge design software for structural components
- Experience with WVDOH and/or ODOT project development processes
- Strong written and verbal communication and leadership skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
