Job DescriptionWhat You'll Do:•
Inspection and Assessment: Perform bridge inspections, compile thorough inspection reports, and complete load rating assessments for both simple and complex bridge structures.

Structural Analysis and Design: Perform structural analyses and prepare comprehensive design calculations for bridges and related transportation infrastructure.
•
Project Documentation: Develop detailed contract drawings, technical specifications, quantity takeoffs, cost estimates, and study reports.
•
Team Collaboration and Delivery: Collaborate with interdisciplinary design teams to support project delivery on schedule and within budget.
•
Leadership and Mentorship: Mentor entry-level engineers and lead assigned task orders efficiently and effectively.
What You Need to Succeed:- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering, with a concentration in bridges or structures, from an ABET-accredited university
- 4+ years of experience in bridge inspection, design, structural analysis, or related transportation infrastructure work
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in South Carolina, or ability to obtain licensure within two months of employment
- Strong technical, written, and verbal communication skills, with a commitment to delivering high-quality work
- Proficiency with structural analysis and design software, such as:
- Leap Bridge, SAP2000, CSI Bridge, MiDAS, LPile, MathCAD, BrR, FB Multipier
- Working knowledge of applicable design codes, including AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design Specifications, AASHTO Manual for Bridge Evaluation, SCDOT Bridge Design Manual, SCDOT Seismic Design Specifications
- Experience with structural analysis and design of steel, reinforced concrete, and prestressed concrete structures
Compensation:The approximate compensation range for this position is $90,000 - $125,000. This compensation range is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation is dependent upon factors such as education, qualifications, experience, skillset, and physical work location.
