Job: NSTM Bridge Inspection Team Leader
Location: Round Rock, TX
We9re looking for a NSTM Bridge Inspection Team Leader to join our Transportation Group. This role is ideal for someone eager to lead and learn in a collaborative environment while gaining experience in bridge inspection and design from a highly specialized team.
What You9ll DoAs a Bridge Inspection Team Leader, you9ll:
- Serve as a bridge inspection team leader.
- Develop detailed bridge inspection reports.
- Assist with, or generate, load rating calculations and documentation.
- Travel as needed to support inspection assignments.
- Apply structural engineering concepts to a wide range of structural inspection and design-related projects.
- Assist with Transportation-related design projects when needed.
What You BringRequired:
- 7+ years of experience in bridge inspection.
- Ability and willingness to travel for inspections.
- Ability to work in outdoor environments and perform field inspections.
- Completion of NHI class - Safety Inspection of In-Service Bridges (130055/130056).
- Completion of NHI class - Bridge Inspection Techniques for Nonredundant Steel Tension Members (NSTM) (130078).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Positive attitude, excellent work ethic, and commitment to quality.
Preferred:
- Structural or Transportation Professional Engineering license in Texas.
- Willingness to live in, commute to, or relocate to Round Rock, TX.
- Load Rating experience.
- Structural or Transportation design experience.
- Bridge Preservation experience.
- Completion of NHI class - Underwater Bridge Inspection (130091).
- Completion of NHI class - Inspection of Ancillary Highway Structures (130087).
