Job Description

The Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathology at Mayo Clinic Florida is seeking an academic breast pathologist with a commitment to clinical service, education, and research interest to work in a large group practice setting. Outstanding diagnostic and communication skills, as well as the drive for service excellence are necessary. The ideal candidate will have expertise and / or experience in breast pathology either by having a breast pathology fellowship or having documented breast subspecialty sign out for at least 2 - 3 years. Additional interests / skills in other surgical pathology subspecialties are desirable.

The selected candidate will join a group of 22 anatomic pathologists in a department of over 40 physicians and scientists. The group of anatomic pathologists have diverse expertise and interested in all subspecialties of anatomic pathology as well as scholarly activities, including grant funded research and teaching in the Mayo Clinic Alix School of Medicine in Florida. This position includes an academic appointment with the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science. Applicants from any academic rank are encouraged to apply.
