Reports to: Head of Brand Partnerships

We're looking for a Brand Partnerships Associate to join our team. In this role, you'll build partnerships between leading brands and our creators, driving new relationships, developing campaigns, and making sure the right brands connect with the right voices.

If you're energized by sales but see it more as relationship-building and storytelling, this role is for you.

This role sits on the Brand Partnerships team, our external-facing sales function that connects brands with Smooth creators. You'll work closely with Creator Managers to match brands with the right voices and execute deals from pitch to close. Strong performers grow into Brand Partnerships Manager, a merit title that comes with expanded earning potential and ownership of a full territory.

What You'll Do

  • Build and grow relationships with brands that want to reach professional and business-minded audiences
  • Create proposals and media plans that align brand goals with creator strengths
  • Lead the full sales cycle: outreach, pitching, negotiating, closing, and ongoing support
  • Stay on top of what's working in creator marketing, advocate for our creators in every deal, and act as a strategic thought partner to brands looking to break through in smart, effective ways


What We're Looking For

  • 1+ years of client-facing experience in media sales, brand partnerships, or a comparable revenue-carrying role
  • You're a self-starter and are prepared to thrive on a small team
  • Someone who enjoys building relationships and closing deals
  • Must be NYC-based (in office Mon-Thurs)


What Can We Offer

  • Base salary: $65,000, plus commission on closed deals
  • Your earning potential grows directly with what you close. Strong performers in this role earn $120,000+ and are promoted to Brand Partnerships Manager, where earning potential reaches $200,000-$250,000+
