This Designer will work remotely but will be in the NYC area to attend meetings as required.

6 mos, but the intent is to extend the assignment.

We are seeking an experienced Designer who will be responsible for managing the creation and execution of design across the portfolio of brands.

The Designer will work closely with the Head of Brand & Marketing to push the design narrative forward. It is our ambition to be a world class design brand anchored to our belief that design can help make the complex simple. At its best, great design invites people in through engaging storytelling.

The Designer will be responsible for deliverables across departments to define requirements, iterate on design solutions, and contribute expertise across the portfolio. They will follow marketing strategy and goals to ensure that all our internal & external communication aligns with established brand guidelines.

They will be responsible for developing design strategy and creating, managing, and producing design solutions for high-impact moments. They will leverage meaningful insights & trends to inform the strategy and set a high bar for quality and consistency to maintain brand cohesion.

The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of design across all platforms, is able to efficiently combine creativity, functionality, and technology to produce creative assets, and can independently manage multiple projects and agency relationships.

Responsibilities
• Lead design strategy and direction for all of programs, products, and key moments.
• Participate in marketing, brand, and design discussions and give feedback during planning and strategy meetings.
• Proactively take ownership of each project with minimal instruction, from initial brainstorms to final production.
• Successfully project manage requests from a variety of stakeholders, and balance workload to meet all deadlines.
• Use of strong communication and organizational skills to determine project scope, vision, deliverables, key messaging and assets as needed.
• Quickly translate ideas and moodboards into sketches, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes. Suggested experience in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma.
• Manage relationships with agencies hired for specific projects.
• Ensure consistency in designs across all company deliverables.
• Participate in creative reviews with other team members, incorporating recommended changes into final designs.

Requirements
• Experience in the design thinking process.
• Experience and flexibility working in a collaborative team environment.
• Experience as project manager and/or creative lead.
• Expertise with standard design tools, including Adobe Creative Suite, and Figma.
• Strong knowledge of current digital design best practices.
• A good understanding of visual design principles, as well as experience with user-centered design.
• Strong portfolio showing the breadth of design capabilities.
• Strong work ethic and personal accountability.
• Strong time management skills.
• Flexible and able to adapt to the changing needs of the business
• Self-starter and effective problem solver who thrives in ambiguous and fast-paced environments
• Ability to communicate conceptual ideas and openness to feedback
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build good working relationships

Compensation Range: $100,000 - 110,000 DOE

The range provided is our reasonable estimate of the compensation for this role. The actual amount may be higher or lower, based on factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities and location.
