Clean Harbors/Safety-Kleen is seeking a talented and dedicated Branch Operations Manager BPS Branch Operations Team. Responsible for owning and executing the systems and technology functions that support our centralized routing department, including business configuration of our routing and order management platforms, MIS partnership and enhancement management, and continuous improvement of the tools our field and route planning teams rely on. This is a high-impact individual contributor role that works across departments and directly supports field operations and executive stakeholders.

  • Own business configuration of Fleetwise and the Six Day Route Planner, ensuring routing and order management tools are set up and maintained to support evolving business needs.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact with MIS for system enhancements, requesting, prioritizing, and validating changes that improve routing and order management functionality.
  • Research, troubleshoot, and manage resolution of system production issues, partnering with MIS and other stakeholders to minimize disruption to route planning and service delivery.
  • Own Aurora Maps administration, ensuring mapping data and configurations remain accurate and support routing and territory decisions.
  • Manage service term models, maintaining and refining logic that drives service frequency and scheduling decisions across the division.
  • Configure and maintain routing setups for specialty truck programs, including UMOL CSG and lube trucks, ensuring system configurations reflect current program requirements.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce manual processes through system configuration and automation, partnering with branch operations leadership to prioritize continuous improvement efforts.

  • Ability to work cross-functionally with field operations, dispatch, and IT stakeholders and communicate clearly at all levels.
  • Experience configuring routing/mapping data and territory or service term logic within a routing platform.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to use data and system configuration to identify inefficiencies, automation opportunities, and process improvements.
  • Self-directed with strong organizational skills and attention to detail; comfortable owning functional areas without direct reports.
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills; able to present to and influence both operational teams and senior leadership.
