JOB TITLE: Branch Manager

The Branch Manager is an experienced sales, service, and compliance leader responsible for the successful operation of a full-service financial center and team. Responsibilities include efficient management of resources and staff, developing and attaining production goals, delivering exceptional customer service, and growing membership with a commitment to CDFI and low-income designated communities. This leader will support organizational strategies by engaging in community outreach, executing on member experience expectations, building and implementing appropriate business and risk management plans, and developing team members for optimal performance and business success. WHAT YOU WILL DO:
• Builds and executes branch plans in alignment with the overall business strategy.
• Ensures all branch operational imperatives are met or exceeded including but not limited to compliance, regulatory procedures, and expense controls.
• Demonstrates a high level of proficiency in setting expectations, effective delegation, organizing work and coaching toward results.
• Demonstrates an exceptional level of product knowledge and sales acumen.
• Prioritizes and manages time effectively to follow through and complete tasks within their area of responsibility.
• Regularly provides input and recommendations that advance team success.
• Advances mission and vision through internal and external audiences; actively inspires and engages their team.
• Manages the branch budget to ensure adherence and alignment with organizational priorities.
• Engages with data to identify recommendations and propose solutions that promote team, branch and community success.
• Manages all audit requests, inquiries, and solutions.
• Manage formal and informal training to contribute to the individual success of team members.

• Accountable for employee relations and culture; seeks guidance as necessary.
• Seeks out community partnerships, follows up on community outreach opportunities and maintains relationships with key community partners.
• Manages and makes recommendations pertaining to appointment and lobby management software.
• Strong leader in loss prevention and safeguarding of member assets.
• Demonstrates a propensity toward curiosity and inclusion.
• Maintains regular and punctual attendance.
• Other duties as assigned.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING:
Basic Qualifications:
• Associate degree, or higher, in business or similar areas of study; or direct experience equivalent
• Five (5)+ years of experience in financial/banking services.
• Three (3)+ years as a people manager.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the state and federal regulations such as Reg. B, Reg. E, Reg. D, Reg. CC, Reg. Z, and the Bank Secrecy Act
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire and motivate others
• Strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Proficiency in using banking software and digital tools
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with experience in formal business communications
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree or higher in business or similar area of study.
• Two (2)+ years as a direct manager of a sales and customer service-based team
• One (1)+ year or more as a leader within a Credit Union.
• FISERV DNA proficient.
• Fluent in Spanish.
• Notary Certificate.
• ITIN Certified.
• Medallion Certified.
Working Conditions:
• This is an in-branch role in the Greater Seattle area of Washington State. We serve members all days of the week except Sunday and limited hours on Saturday.
• Team members may attend special off-hour meetings and seminars.
• The nature of work may include prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

The pay range for this role is:
74,000 - 111,000 USD per year (US SCU Above National)
