Position PurposeThe Branch Administrator provides administrative operational and customer service support to ensure the efficient daily operation of the branches. This position serves as the primary administrative resources for branch management by coordinating branch activities, maintaining operational records, supporting compliance requirements, assisting with employee scheduling, and training documentation, and ensuring exceptional customer service. The Branch Administrator works closely with branch leadership to promote operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and achievement of branch performance goals. The Branch Administrator will also assist and lead staff to develop a more conducive sales environment by learning customer needs and guiding them to appropriate sales staff to assist in developing deeper relationships
Position Responsibilities- Acts as the escalation point for the Branch staff in relation to transaction questions, overdrafts, wire transfers, online access issues, and general issues that the branch staff does not have the authority for decision making on
- Oversee overall branch security and conduct periodic spot checks and audits to ensure compliance with all policies and procedures
- Ensure adherence to banking regulations, including Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Know Your customer (KYC), and customer privacy requirements
- Manages work schedules, performance, hiring, sales referrals, coaching, and recognition for the branch team
- Maintain accurate operational documentation to support regulatory compliance
- Assist management in implementing corrective actions identified during audits or compliance reviews
- Report operational risks or suspicious activities in accordance with bank policy
- Assist in cash ordering with the Fed, and couriers, supply inventory, and security documentation
- Deliver professional and courteous service to customers.
- Monitor operational deadlines and ensure timely completion of required tasks
- Assist management with special projects and branch initiatives
- Support branch sales initiatives by identifying opportunities to refer customers to appropriate banking products and services
Minimum Education & Experience- Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent years of experience working in a management role within a bank branch
- Strong interpersonal, communication and public relation skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Strong diligence, accuracy, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Technical Knowledge and SkillsProficiency with Microsoft office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint. Has expert level of knowledge in the following systems
• Integrated Teller
• BPM
• Q2
• Mantle
• FISERV
• Cash Management Products
• Deposit products
• Ability to travel as needed.
Compensation- Base Salary Range: $110,000 - $140,000 annually. Final determination of where you are at in the salary range is based on numerous factors such as geographical location, relevant experience, skill set, education, and ability to meet qualifications within the job description.
- Additional Compensation: This role will include a yearly annual target bonus based on individual performance.
Working Arrangements- This is an in-person role expected to work in office Monday-Friday. This person will ideally sit out of our Rockville, MD headquarters location.
