Bookkeeper / Accounting Manager - ManufacturingBuford, GA | $80,000-$110,000Position OverviewThis is
not a traditional corporate accounting role. The ideal candidate has a strong background in
manufacturing accounting, including
cost accounting, managerial accounting, inventory, job costing, and work-in-process (WIP). Experience supporting a custom fabrication or discrete manufacturing environment is highly preferred.
Responsibilities- Oversee the day-to-day accounting operations, including the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash management, and month-end close.
- Manage manufacturing accounting activities, including inventory, job costing, cost analysis, and financial reporting while partnering with operations to improve profitability and business performance.
- Develop and improve accounting processes, strengthen internal controls, and provide financial insight to support strategic decision-making.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 10+ years of accounting experience with a strong manufacturing background.
- Extensive experience in cost accounting and managerial accounting.
- Experience with Epicor ERP is strongly preferred.
- Hands-on leadership style with excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
