We are looking for a
Senior Accountant to join our Business Management and Family Office group within the Advisory Department. As a Senior Accountant you will be responsible for:
Responsibilities:- Generate and identify opportunities for new business. Be involved in practice development, networking, etc.
- Ensure overall responsiveness to client requests and sustain client relationships as a close associate to the Partner(s) and Director.
- Point person on asset acquisitions and dispositions, client loans, cooperative applications, etc.
- Research and coordinate with other departments to mitigate risk and maximize tax planning
- process.
- Provide guidance on the client's insurance plan (includes homeowners, personal liability, auto, etc.; business, if applicable, life, long term care, disability).
- Plan and manage workloads for all levels of Account Managers.
- Facilitate client onboarding process with support from Director.
- Provide guidance on year-end payroll including bonus payrolls to officers from loan out entities.
- Develop working knowledge of retirement plans, gift and estate planning concepts.
- Be responsible for understanding the Client's organization and structure, knowing the
- product/services and keeping abreast of Client news and changes.
- Begin to get involved with client billing, collections, profitability (realization).
- Prepare loan applications.
- Preparation of more complex investment analysis reports and understand the underlying asset classes.
- Prepare budgets and analysis on regular basis.
- Provide year-end closing entries as needed.
- Review of General Ledger, Cash Flow, Trial Balance on a regular basis.
- Tracks residual, profit participant and fee income payments.
- Anticipate and address client concerns and escalating problems proactively and as they arise.
Qualifications:- 7-11 years of experience in BMFO or 3-5 years of experience in BMFO & Bachelor's Degree(Accounting, Business Admin, Economics)
